Microsoft Lists received a major forms update in February 2025, adding conditional logic, scheduling, and expanded field types.

ℹ️
Key Facts:
Conditional branching: Show/hide questions based on previous answers
Form scheduling: Set start and end dates for data collection
Notifications: Get notified when forms are submitted
New field types: Attachments, Image, Location, Lookup
Access model: Form users do not need access to underlying list

Forms can now be created directly from Lists home, SharePoint sites, or Teams. The conditional branching feature enables survey-style forms where follow-up questions appear based on responses. Form scheduling is useful for time-limited data collection like event registrations.
